Come and join the Barn's very own choir! This is a new project set up by local choral animateur, Johnny Kilhams.  Johnny set up a virtual choir for the barn during the pandemic which helped people get through that difficult time and now we are launching an in-person choir! The choir will rehearse on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11.30am. There are no auditions and there isn't a requirement to read music although music will be provided, as well as lyric sheets. 

The choir aims to create an atmosphere unlike any other with people from all walks of life. Mums with their pre-school kids right through to retired folk singing side by side in glorious harmony! The music will have a theme each term and have something for everyone. We will sing with and without accompaniment and for concerts welcome local musicians to boost the sound. 

Johnny goes on to say..."this is such an exciting project and I urge you to be part of its musical journey from the beginning. I can't think of many better ways to spend your Tuesday mornings than rehearsing in the picturesque setting of the Riverhouse Barn then buying a coffee and a slice of cake from the infamous community café. Having run choirs now for over 12 years the thing I love most about them is the sense that they become an extension of your family along with being real physical and mental support hubs for everyone. They are such a force for good and I am super excited to launch this choir with Riverhouse."

Dates: Tuesday 16 April, 23 April, 30 April, 7 May, 14 May, 21 May, 4 June, 11 June, 18 June, 25 June, 2 July, 9 July & Summer Concert on 14 July.
Time: 10:00 - 11:30 am on most dates, 9:30 to 11:00 am on 23 April, 21 May & 11 June

Termly Subs
The price per term is £65 which will include 10 to 12 sessions and an end of term concert. 

Note: 
- No choir meet-up on 28 May (break for half term)
