Sing Baby Sing and A Celebration of Kool and The Gang

A special show of two halves celebrating the sounds of two iconic soul groups the Stylistics and Kool & The Gang.
We are bringing back the backing band from Alexander O 'Neals last performance here at the Princess Theatre to celebrate Kool & The Gang which was one of the most popular groups of the ’70s and ’80s are best known for their joyful hit, “Celebration,” they created other classic hits such as “Cherish,” “Get Down On It,” “Too Hot,” “Hollywood Swinging,” “Fresh” and “Joanna.” 

CELEBRATE is a top notch collective of musicians from both sides of the Atlantic with a passion and a respect of the music they play.

The incredible brass section consists of the Original Light of World Members and Brass Roots and now this all star group of musicians have come together, putting all their considerable expertise, passion and respect to recreate the sound and experience of those masters of the groove Kool & The Gang. A fantastic tribute to a truly great band a high quality act performing songs of the highest calibre. Celebrate any occasion with CELEBRATE!

Harmony vocal groups such as the Stylistics, have always been a powerful medium for putting stories across to the public, via great vocal structures, tight harmonies, strong songs and searching melodies, that are able to get the listeners attention and take them out of their world and transport them into another music plane.
Sing Baby Sing is one such group, trained in the United Kingdom & USA throughout the 70’s and 80’s and influenced by all the Early UK & USA Soul, Northern Soul, Jazz Funk, UK & USA R&B.
