Mock Tudor Comedy - Friday 11 October

Our monthly Mock Tudor Comedy club night with the return of the amazing Max Fulham as headliner, Matt Price as MC plus Fiona Allen and Matt Foster!

Comedian and ventriloquist, star of the future, MAX FULHAM has been working professionally since his early teens and brings a fresh and contemporary twist to a classic art.  Max has wowed audiences with his one man show, entertaining thousands of people in theatres across the UK and internationally. Highlights include appearing on ‘The Good Old Days’ at Leeds City Varieties, following in the footsteps of his variety heroes, and performing on the Blackpool Opera House stage as part of the world-famous Blackpool Magic Convention. Max has also had the unique pleasure of headlining at the prestigious Venthaven Ventriloquist Convention in the USA. Described as "skilled and quick-witted" by The Stage and with viral success on TikTok amassing 2 million likes, Max is a performer not to be missed.

FIONA ALLEN is fast becoming a comedy circuit favourite, and she comes with quite some comedy pedigree. Her sassy anecdotal style walks her audience through frustrations with her husband & three kids and her eminent need to get out of the house and away from them!  A natural comedian, she is warm but fearless. Although Fiona is perhaps best known for writing and starring in the iconic Emmy award winning and BAFTA nominated TV Comedy series Smack The Pony, she has successfully transitioned to stand up comedy with consummate ease.

MATT PRICE is known for having some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life. Hailing from Cornwall, he brings true warmth and heart to the stage whilst finding some audacious laughs in the most unexpected places.  No show is ever the same with Mr Price!

MATT FOSTER conjures eruptions of laughter from seemingly out of nowhere, blending disarming likability with a fierce comic mind, he delivers a show that leaves audiences gasping for air. Rocketing onto the comedy scene in 2015, he was quickly noticed and signed by Canada’s largest comedy club chain, Yuk Yuk’s Comedy, and has headlined comedy clubs from coast to coast. With thousands of performances between Canada and the UK, Matt was invited to be part of the Just For Laughs Originals series, showcasing the best in Canadian comedy. Now making his home in the UK, Matt has appeared on BBC Radio London, and can be found regularly performing on the UK comedy circuit and on comedy stages around the world.
